The Nightjars crash into an energetic set, that takes in waves of Sonic Youth and post-rock as well as some firmly driven, bass-ended post-punk. Theirs is a frenzied, sometimes claustrophobic racket, with the guitars often taking second place to the fearsomely tight rhythm section - it seems to be over in mere minutes.
